Go Sugimoto was born in Yamaguchi , Japan and currently lives and works in New York City. His work
has been widely exhibited in galleries and museums internationally, including the acclaimed show, Making A
Home, Japan Society, NYC, in (2007), group exhibitions at the Museum of Modern Art, Rio de Janeiro (2011),
the Yokohama Photo Festival (2010), Sepia International, NYC, (2009), and Photo Espana (2006), and a solo
exhibition at Miyako Yoshinaga gallery, NYC, in 2007. Recent reviews of his work include the New Yorker, in
2009 and in 2010. Sugimoto’s photographs are part of the Museum of Modern Art, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and
held in private collections internationally.
